We had a great 3-day weekend. It is always nice to just go with the flow. The week was a long one. I had my first exam of the semester on Thursday, so I was ready for a break from studying.
Saturday, 2/19
A Korean restaurant had reopened up in their new location so we decided to check it out. We were there for 2 hours and waited about 1.5 hours for our food. We didn’t find out until we were nearly finished that they had one fully trained cook who was training a new cook that evening. We both ordered a Sizzling Bi-Bim-Bob (Warm rice in a hot stone bowl with seasoned vegetables, Kim-Chi, bean paste, and fried egg). So delicious! Because dinner took too long, we missed our movie time.
Sunday, 2/20
I have been wanting to go out and take photos. Since I’ve been busy with school, I haven’t really had the time to really try and find work. We decided to drive up into mountains and brought our pup. It was his first time being up there.
We “hiked” a trail, but didn’t go too far. We were not prepared to be out in the snow for too long. I had so much fun, I hope to do it again soon.
Later that evening we decided to see a later showing of Uncharted. The movie was okay.. not the best one, but it was entertaining enough for me to enjoy our outing.
Thursday, February 24th
I never got a chance to finish this post on Tuesday, so here I am!
It has been a crazy couple of days! I finally got my first two exam results back! I got an 87.5% on my Criminology exam and a 98% on my Victimology exam. I had my Memory & Cogintion exam this morning, and already know that I did not do so well. Eeeek.
The weather has been in the negative the past couple of days and has been snowing off and on, but I am hopeful that I will be able to get out and take more photos. I’ve been wanting to reach out to a few friends and see if they would be willing to be my subjects, so hopefully we can set something up!
Spring Break is in a couple of weeks and we need to figure out what we want to do. We initally decided to spend the whole week doing something, but I changed my mind and want to spend a couple of days instead. I would like to stay in our area, but also be able to bring our pup! So I’ll be doing some researching this weekend for ideas. Other than that, I don’t really have anything planned for the weekend other than homework/study and chores (bleh). But hopefully I have more pictures to post soon!
