It’s been 3 months since my last post… and it has been pretty busy! Last month, I went on a cruise to Alaska with my boyfriend and my parents. That was a lot of fun!
We stayed on the Royal Caribbean Cruise and made stops in Icy Point Strait, Skagway, Juneau and Victoria, B.C. Canada!
I will be editing photos and will be writing up a separate post about the trip. It might take me awhile, but it is on my to-do list!
I was supposed to have ankle surgery the week we got back, but lucky me, I came down with a terrible sinus infection… ick! Thankfully it wasn’t covid or they were going to have to push my surgery 6 weeks out. I only had to wait 2 weeks.
Ankle surgery was the first major surgery I have ever had. I am almost a week post-op, and it isn’t so bad. I struggle getting everywhere in the house, have been sleeping on the couch, and get tired really easily. I hope all this is worth it though! I would love to be able to go on long walks without my ankle hurting and swelling up.
I get to wear this beautiful boot for quite awhile! My firsf post-op appointment is next week and I’m a little scared to see what my foot looks like. Between my legs is Little Roux. She had an accident a couple of months ago and had one of her legs amputated the day before my ankle surgery. We are recovery buddies đź’›
