Our new air fryer arrived and the first thing we made was grilled cheese! I never thought to make grilled cheese until my best friend sent me a photo of the sandwich her husband made.
After buttering the sides of my bread and placing the sandwich into my basket, the settings I used were 375 degrees for 3 minutes. Flip the sandwich and air fry for another 3 minutes. Of course every appliance cooks differently, so just play around with time and temperature.
It probably would have taken less time cooking it on the stove, but it was nice to walk away and not worry about it, lol.
I love the “fancy” grilled cheese, the kind that has all the fixings: tomatoes, onion and bacon. Maybe I’ll try that one day.
