Well, I have been at this coffee shop since about 7:15 AM doing homework and it is now 2 hours later and I can barely focus, so figured I should update this blog. Also, there are a few flies mating and flying around. I know it’s a common thing for coffee shops, but they should really invest in those wall tape things!

It’s been pretty busy still between school and photography work. I had two shoots last Friday, which both turned out really amazing! My friends are coming into town Sunday-Saturday (leaving in the morning), and then I have a photoshoot Saturday evening for a dear friend who just announced she is expecting her second child! I am beyond excited! I love that my “busy season” is during the fall and winter seasons, but with school, it can sometimes be difficult, lol.

I have to write a research paper for one of my classes and the introduction is due this Sunday. I decided to write my paper on internet use and mental health. I really wanted to do social media and mental health, but the GSS doesn’t really have much on social media – I wish it wasn’t required to use that site. I think it would be really important to know how social media affects our mental health, I know that it can act as dopamine for some, but can really make others [more] depressed.
I have a bunch of things to do, such as homework, yard work, and cleaning before Sunday evening. My friends check into their hotel around 5pm, and then the rest of my models will be arriving around 7:30pm for our in-person meet-up. Our big Coven shoot is a week from today! Finally! I am super excited and at the same time, cannot wait for this project to be completed. I already have a list of other projects I want to work on after.
I probably won’t write again until after my friends leave – I hope to tell you how our week went, what we did and give you an update on the Halloween project!
Until then, please drop any of your favorite Halloween movies! We plan to watch Beetlejuice, and we have all seen Hocus Pocus 2, so looking for more suggestions. Thanks!
I hope you have a fantastic week!
