I’m not getting much done this week. I’ve done some light cleaning and have plans to organize my office, but we’ve been feeling a little sick so we have been resting.
We had a great time with friends on New Years Eve. I had too much champagne and we played Cards Against Humanity. We started with 11 people and then ended the night with 8. I surprisingly won CAH… I never win haha.
We don’t shop at Walmart, but we went there today to pick things up for someone who needed specific items from there. Our Walmart had ZERO cashiers and everyone had to go through self check out. It was crazy.
I did pick up some Cricut tools and materials. I’m super excited to use them! I also ordered a few more supplies of Amazon… I’m surprised my boyfriend hasn’t said anything about me spending money 😬
It’s our anniversary on Monday, so we are going out to dinner this weekend. It took us awhile to decide on a place… we don’t go out much because of Covid, so there were a lot of new to us restaurants. The one we are going to is going to be interesting. Seems to have about 50/50 on good and bad reviews. So we shall see.
Then it’s my birthday next Saturday. Eeep! I’m not sure what he and I will be doing, but the next weekend after we are spending it with friends. Maybe a little Dungeons and Dragons or I was thinking going to this art place. I just hope there is CAKE!
Speaking of cake.. I’m down 4 lbs this week. Wahoo! I have this count down app on my phone to remind me how many days I have left until vacation. It helps keep me motivated. Since we’ve been sick and staying home, we’ve been cooking a lot more so it has been nice. We have a pantry full of cans (of the same thing, omg) and my goal is to finish most of them and only buy cans when needed…
I just want everything to be organized and get rid of a lot of stuff. I get so distracted and overwhelmed I don’t know where to begin. I’ve been trying to sell a few pieces of clothing… but I’ve never really done it before so I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ve only been trying on Facebook… so if you have any suggestions and tips, I would forever grateful! I also want to put up a bunch of shelves but can’t spend money all at once…
