Happy December!

This is going to be a quick post, I should be asleep already…

It really doesn’t feel like the end of the year is near… I’ve been super busy the past couple of weeks.

We celebrated my partner’s birthday with friends on November 19th. We had maybe about 8 people over, ate pizza, and played board games. I really enjoyed Just One, and I thought Secret Hitler was okay.

My k-wire pins were removed last week (December 1st), and it looks like my foot is healing nicely! I still have a couple of weeks before I can start putting more weight and resuming activities like physical therapy and walking the dog.

I spent last week creating Christmas cards with my Cricut to sell at our local radio station’s Bazaar last Saturday (December 3rd). I also sold photography prints! There were maybe 15 other vendors and had live music all evening. One of the musicians gave me a shout-out on the radio 😊

Now, I am scrambling this week to get the house cleaned and decorated for our Christmas party on Saturday (December 10th). It’ll be a potluck, but we are going to serve ham, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole, and I’ll be making a charcuterie board for an appetizer. This year, I decided I wanted us to play the White Elephant Gift Game. I’ve never played it before, but I have heard it is fun! We ordered this little funny gift, but I don’t know if it will get here in time. I hope so because I don’t really want it LOL.

We are going to get our Christmas tree tomorrow and I need to do a little bit of shopping as well. I never know what to get anyone these days. Any suggestions?
