Home – 5:50 AM
I woke up at 5:00 AM to get a few chores out of the way. I had planned to do them last night, but I was feeling a little lazy and had a slight headache from my ketamine treatment.
I’m looking forward to this little getaway, but I’m also feeling tired, depressed, and a bit overwhelmed by everything I need to get done.
I managed to fit everything into a carry-on suitcase and a personal tote bag. Let’s just hope I don’t buy too much while I’m there, or I won’t be able to bring it all home! 😅
It sounds like Meghan and Eryn have put together an itinerary, but they haven’t shared it with us yet. I know we’ll be spending time at the pool, visiting the casinos, enjoying a nice dinner, and going to Thunder From Down Under. Beyond that, I’m not really sure what the plans are, so we’ll just have to wait and see!
The forecast is calling for temperatures around 100°F. A lot of us were planning to wear dresses, but one of the ladies pointed out that it’s supposed to be very windy. The breeze might help with the heat, but it could also be a little annoying.
My flight boards at 9:45 AM, so we’re leaving at 7:30 AM. Before heading to the airport, we’re stopping by the Sheriff’s Office to check on something for the gun club.
Bozeman Airport – 8:34 AM
Garrett and I ended up leaving around 7:00 AM. We decided to grab breakfast instead of stopping by the Sheriff’s Office. He’ll head there after dropping me off at the airport.
We went to Duke’s in Belgrade, where we both ordered the breakfast burrito. I had a mocha with mine, while Garrett went with orange juice. It was a good way to start the morning before a day of travel.

This morning, the Southwest Airlines app said that passengers in boarding groups 7 and 8 could check their carry-on bags for free due to limited overhead bin space. Unfortunately, when I checked in at the kiosk, I ended up paying the $45 checked bag fee anyway. Oh well.
I also completely forgot to check my tote bag before heading to the airport and accidentally brought a box cutter with me. Oops! 🙈 The TSA agent was very kind and offered to let me check it in with my luggage, but since it only cost about $6 at Harbor Freight, I decided not to bother.

Now I’m waiting at Gate B7 and looking forward to getting this trip started. So far, the morning has been smooth, aside from the surprise checked bag fee and accidentally bringing a prohibited item through security! 😅
The Golden Nugget – 2:04 PM

I’m not a huge fan of the Las Vegas airport. It has a strange smell, it’s always crowded, and it seemed to take forever to get out of there. Once I finally made it outside, I grabbed an Uber to the Golden Nugget and met up with Meghan, Eryn, Tracey, and Rebecca.
The ladies are currently taking a nap while I relax in the room and watch Every Year After. Tonight’s plan is to meet up with Laura and Sommer once they arrive, then head out for dinner and spend some time exploring Fremont Street.
So far, it’s been a pretty low-key start to the trip, which is honestly fine with me after a long day of travel.
Hotel Room – 11:35pm
Eryn, Tracey, and I are back in our hotel room, and we are exhausted! After I met up with everyone, the ladies decided to take a nap while I relaxed and watched some TV.
Later, we got ready for the evening festivities, which included putting on our bachelorette party sashes and a set of Shrek ears. It was definitely a look! Between the sashes, the ears, and the excitement of finally being together, it really started to feel like the bachelorette weekend was officially underway.

We ended up going to Saltgrass Steakhouse which was located in the hotel.

After dinner, we roamed Freemont and then made it to the Ice Bar for a drink and waited for Laura to join us.

After Laura found us, we roamed up and down Fremont trying a tiki bar and then getting more drinks. Some of us even made a pit stop at the ABC store for some water and snacks.

Tomorrow we will be spending most of the day at the pool, going to a nice dinner and then the show: Thunder From Down Under.
