Today’s treatment was… interesting.
For the first time, I actually saw something during a session… a tree. It looked a lot like the tree in the photo I attached, though the trunk was a bit thinner. At first, it was bright, colorful, and full of life. As the treatment continued, darkness slowly crept in and eventually engulfed it.
It was a pretty cool experience. I have no idea what it means, if it means anything at all, but I was excited just to see something. Most of my ketamine experiences have been more about feeling emotions move through my body than seeing images, so having such a vivid visual felt new and unexpected.
Here is the setup of the new treatment room. I actually didn’t even realize there was a door in the room until this session! During my treatment, the assistant had to go through it, and I remember thinking, “Wait, there’s a door there?”

Overall, I think I prefer this room. It’s darker, quieter, and feels a little cozier than the other treatment room. Without the windows and outside distractions, it was easier to settle in and focus on the experience.
